...of admirers, Lucy Fur stands on the cusp of
greatness with six years of turntable experience
already under her belt.
The banging beat mistress has worked her way up
through the ranks with grit, determination and bags
of style and is now the most sought after female
DJ in hard house.
Lucy has hammered them out at many of Britain’s
leading hotspots –Twist,
Frantic, Insekt, Afters and Storm among them –
and has been rewarded with key roles in major events
such as Polysexual, Hard House Academy and Tidy
Extreme Euphoria.
The high priestess of hard and heavy has won the
respect of leading luminaries such as Paul Glazby
and Ian M, as is commonly tipped for the top by
influential clubland bigwigs.
Energetic sets with vision and balls of steel have
made Lucy a huge hit with party-goers. She won her
regular slot at Twist after topping a Harderfaster
internet poll which saw clubbers voting for the
DJ they most wanted to see play regularly at Twist.
At the award-winning CyberKitten club in Northampton,
Lucy holds down an established residency propelled
by the meanest beats in music mixed with the precision
of a machine. Her agility is illustrated in the
Dirty Flirty arena at Kitten events, where you will
catch Lucy dipping into sexy electro sets with aplomb.
Miss Fur-ocious won massive praise for a DJ tour
of Brazil, which played a big part in a key local
AIDS awareness campaign for charity, and in 2008
she will launch a number of assaults on international
clubland.
Lucy has major ambitions as a producer, lining
up studio sessions with Paul Maddox, Frank Farrell
and Riggsy to augment her achievements so far.
Her most renowned outing is the monstrous Intruder
Alert, which was signed to Twisted Filth, and you
can also find Lucy’s grooves of fury on Hard
Sounds and U.F.C Digital and Volatile, which unleashes
her Vigilante collaboration with Tom Parr early
in 2008. Further workouts with Tom are also in the
pipeline.
The femme fatale of fast and furious is a lady
with the talent to match her ambition, and has the
right attitude to ensure she will be around for
many years to come at the centre of the hard dance
universe.
